INFO — M—A (A SPACE BETWEEN)

M—A (A SPACE BETWEEN) is a multidisciplinary studio & publisher, co-founded by British designer Joe Richards & French designer Manon Duhamel in 2020.

Published annually, presenting emergent with established excellence from around the world, issue 4 of the magazine continues a curated visual conversation. Works by 31 contributing artists are curated in a stream-of-consciousness visual narrative exploring Signals.

Previous contributors have included Larry Fink, Martin Margiela, Claudia Andujar, Gabriel Orozco and the estates of Yoko Ono, Anselm Kiefer, Cy Twombly and Julia Margaret Cameron, among others.

The publisher is grateful for the support of galleries including Thaddaeus Ropac, Jeu de Paume, The Tate, The Barbican, The Photographers’ Gallery and David Zwirner who hosted the launch of issue 3 in January 2024. The 4th issue was launched at Dover Street Market in May 2025.

The publication is sold at 18 selected stockists, including The Serpentine in London, Jeu de Paume in Paris, JZZP in China and maaspacebetween.com.
